YA TOSIBA is available for live shows (duo or solo) and DJ sets.
Azerbaijani born producer Zuzu Zakaria aka Ya Tosiba is best known for uniting historical Sufi texts with thick electronics. Mediating oriental
expressionism through hypnotic melodies, use of instruments belonging to eastern hemispheres and passion projected through an analogue electronic musical journey.
Vocals are heavily dubbed and carry the blend of eastern classical techniques of Mugam/Makam in music and Aruz in poetry and rapping.
The project originally started as a duo, with Mesak on additional beats.
Ya Tosiba has collaborate with Jimi Tenor, Mouse on Mars, Baba Zula, Debmaster, Patric Catani and others.
